Carrie was a homemaker and a retired employee of Wal-Mart, Caruthersville. She was a member of the DAR (Daughters of American Revolution) and a long-time member of the Bakerville Church of Christ, Bragg City.
Survivors include: granddaughter, Laura Whitfield of Kennett; grandson, Ethan Spiess of Dyersburg, TN; 4
great-grandchildren; brother, George Jordan & his wife, Irene of Senath; sister, Sandra Green & her husband, Dennis of Kennett; daughter-in-law, Meleia Lewis of Dyersburg, TN.
Also surviving are many nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, her daughter, Jodie Lewis Blocker, her son, Charles “Chuck” Lewis, a brother & sister-in-law, John A. & Sue Jordan, and a nephew, Steve Jordan.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel, Kennett with Mr. James Powell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kennett. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Green, Brad Green, Mark Jordan, David Jordan, Ronnie Jordan, Steve Atwill, Bill Privett, & Bill Blankenship. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Bakerville Church of Christ.
